CM310 (IL-4Ra antibody)
(2023)

The sick body can be considered deviant, and the confined space of the sequestered home may serve as a transgressive stage, enabling the diseased body to manifest precariousness and vulnerability through performativity. I aim to trace the acceleration of this phenomenon, particularly within the framework of eugenics exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, "where lives were deemed disposable based on factors such as class, race, and disability".  This spectral backdrop of societal disregard unveils the stark theater of life and death, where the infirm body becomes an emblem of resistance and fragility, enacting its suffering within the confines of isolation.
